GETTING HERE
The closest airport is Liberia Airport (LIR), which is approx a 2.5-3 hour drive from us. You can rent a car or we can arrange a shuttle. Driving is pretty simple, we recommend renting a GPS and a 4WD, but otherwise it’s fun and you can explore along the way.
You can now fly from Liberia Airport to Nosara which only takes 15 minutes!
You can also fly into San Jose (SJO) and from there, you can rent a car or we can arrange a shuttle for you. San Jose is about a 5 hour drive. We recommend getting a local flight from San Jose to Nosara on Sansa Air (flysansa.com) or charter a flight with Carmon Air (carmonair.com).
That only takes 30 minutes and is a beautiful scenic flight.
If you fly right into Nosara or take a shuttle, you can always rent a car here to explore the surrounding beaches and towns. We have several rental agencies in town. You can also opt for an ATV or golf car rental, which is fun to drive around here in Guiones and the Nosara area.
